Welcome to Holyhead Tutoring!

I'm Ivan, an experienced, comprehensively trained teacher and skilled maths tutor in Southampton, with more than two decades of experience. I take pride in the fact that I have helped numerous students gain first-class grades from their exams. Many of my past students have also achieved placements in some of the best mathematics degree courses in the country, including Oxford and Cambridge.

As a maths specialist, I always work to the latest curriculum, to ensure that my students can thrive in their studies. All my teaching is also catered to individuals, so that I can focus on problem areas and help them excel in the subject!

At Holyhead Tutoring, I provide remote, responsive teaching and I offer a schedule that works around your diary. All of my online private tutoring sessions use video calls, online whiteboards, along with specifically chosen supplies to make sure that my students have an exceptional experience with me. I know that many of my students don't have much time, so I offer a range of different times, including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.

A Level and GCSE Maths Tutors in Southampton

At Holyhead Tutoring, I provide a selection of maths tuition in Southampton, to work around your specific needs and timetable:

‍Before School - The early morning lessons take place before the school day. This can be the ideal timing to help further the student's maths skills because the mind is at its brightest. It also gives students the perfect opportunity to get assistance for maths classes later the same day.‍
Holiday Tuition - If you are about to start an A-Level maths course in the coming school year, summer holiday tutoring can be great preparation. The long time off between secondary school examinations and the start of college can give students the chance to feel completely ready for their new studies. I also offer students tuition in other year groups.
Small Groups - Group tutoring is also possible for groups of 2-4 students. All the students will still benefit from individual support, while giving the parents a chance to share the cost of tuition with others.
