Hi! I'm Ivan
I’m a specialist maths teacher with more than 20 years of experience in the field. I work at an 11-18 school with one of the largest 6th forms in the area, successfully supporting thousands of students through their exams.
My online tutoring is offered at a range of levels including GCSE, A-Level and 11+.
Prior to teaching I spent 9 years in the army (Coldstream Guards, living next door to Buckingham Palace!)
I love to keep fit and am an avid gym user. When not at the gym, you can often find me walking my dog, Minty, on the South Downs.

Individual maths lessons
It’s always my goal to offer sessions around my students’ schedules, at times that really work for them. I offer evening, weekend and holiday tuition.
Before school morning sessions
I run early morning, before school, online tuition sessions. It’s great to study when the mind is alert, making this one of the best times of day to learn the subject. It’s also a perfect opportunity to get support for same-day maths classes.
Daytime sessions - From July 2025
For college students seeking personalised support, my daytime one-to-one tutoring offers a focused and flexible learning environment. Whether mastering A-Level topics, preparing for university exams, or building confidence in maths, I provide tailored guidance during free periods or independent study time.
Holiday maths tuition
I offer specialised summer holiday sessions which are particularly beneficial for those about to begin A’ level maths.
Small groups
This is an ideal alternative if you need tuition for multiple individuals at the same level. This tutoring option is perfect for up to four students.
